The new Mitsubishi Mirage City Car – which replaces the Colt in Mitsubishi’s lineup – will cost from £8,999 in the UK for the Mirage 1.0L. Replacing the Colt in Mitsubishi’s lineup, the new Mirage offers a compact and economical option for buyers with a choice of two engines – 1.0 litre and 1.2 litre 3-cylinder – and three spec levels – Mirage, Mirage 2 and Mirage 3. Aimed to take a piece of the market the VW Group is gobbling up with the Up!
Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3
It’s been mooted for quite a while, but now it’s confirmed – AM are to replace the DBR9S race car with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. Built on Aston Martin’s now rather ancient V/H architecture modular chassis, the Vantage GT3 also features Aston Martin’s one and only engine – the V12 originally built from a pair of Ford Mondeo engines – which in the GT3 version will produce something in the region of 600bhp and 516lb/ft of torque. What the GT3 also gets – as the photo above clearly demonstrates - are new aerodynamics, which makes the GT3 seem much more aggressive than the V12 Vantage on which it’s based.

It’s having a long drawn-out gestation, but Aston Martin’s One-77 supercar made its world show debut at this weekend’s Villa d’Este, where it scooped the top prize for concept cars and prototypes. We’ll forgive you if you thought the One-77 had already been unveiled, but the car at Geneva was a technical cutaway rolling chassis – the first finished car is the one show in our photos above. The One-77 won more than 30% of the votes among the eight cars entered in its category.
